Know Before You Go

How much luggage can I bring on my Peter Pan trip?

Peter Pan allows 1 small carry-on bag (under 25 pounds) that will fit in the overhead storage compartments or under the seat, and 2 bags in the baggage bay, each up to 50 pounds. Unpackaged bicycles may be transported in the baggage bay on a space-available basis. See the Peter Pan luggage policy for more details.

Does Peter Pan have amenities on board?

Peter Pan does offer WiFi, power outlets, and bathrooms on board most of its trips. Please keep in mind that since these are complimentary it is within the carrier's rights to not offer them on specific routes or if there are technical issues outside of their control.

Does Peter have a discount for children or infants?

Peter Pan offers a 20% discount for children 2-11 years old. However, the tickets must all be purchased in person at the station. Discount rates are not applicable to online purchases. Infants do not require a ticket.

Can minors travel alone on Peter Pan?

Customers 15 years of age and older are considered an adult traveler.

Customers between the ages of 12 and 14 years of age may travel unaccompanied at full adult fare if the unaccompanied child guidelines are met in their entirety. The ticket must be purchased at a Peter Pan ticket counter.  Online tickets are not valid for unaccompanied minor travel. Please see Peter Pan's unaccompanied child guidelines.

If you are unable to retrieve your ticket please email us at [email protected] and we can send it for you!

Do I need to print my Peter Pan ticket?

Peter Pan does not require a printed ticket to board the bus. You can board Peter Pan Bus Lines by showing your E-Ticket on your phone. The E-Ticket is emailed to when you make your reservation.

For more information about reading your Peter Pan ticket, see our blog post here.

How early should I arrive at the station?

We recommend arriving at least 20-30 minutes before the departure time to prepare for the boarding process. If you are unfamiliar with the departure station, it's always good to leave extra time to find your way around!

Do I need an ID to board my bus?

Yes, Peter Pan Bus Lines requires you to present an ID to an agent to board the bus. Make sure you have identification issued by a government agency that meets the carrier’s requirements. Alternative IDs, like a college ID, won’t work.

Cancelling or Changing Your Peter Pan Reservation

Can I make changes to my ticket?

You may contact Peter Pan Bus Lines directly at +1 (800) 343-9999 or https://peterpanbus.com/request/ to change your ticket for a fee. You can also change your ticket on the Peter Pan app or in person at the station (if available). The travel date, time, and passenger name can be exchanged.

The ticket exchange must take place at least two (2) hours before the departure time (and date) specified on the original ticket.

All tickets are non-exchangeable within 2 hours of departure and after the bus has departed.

For tickets where the original fare is $10 and under, the exchange fee is $5. For tickets where the original fare is over $10, the exchange fee is $10. A transaction cost of $2.50 – $5.00 per ticket, as well as the difference in cost of your new ticket, will be applied.

Can I cancel my ticket and get a refund?

Unfortunately, all Peter Pan tickets are nonrefundable. If you purchased travel insurance with Allianz when you booked your ticket, you can file a claim for reimbursement - see details here.
