Know Before You Go

How much luggage can I bring on my CoachRun trip?

CoachRun will accept one piece of luggage per passenger, which must not exceed 62 inches when adding up the dimensions (length + width + height) and should not weigh more than 50 pounds.  
Passengers can also take onboard one small carry-on bag that will fit in the overhead storage compartments or under the seat. Bicycles may be transported based on space availability. See the CoachRun luggage policy for more details.

Does CoachRun have amenities on board?

CoachRun does offer WiFi, power outlets, and bathrooms on board most of its trips. Please keep in mind that since these are complimentary it is within the carrier's rights to not offer them on specific routes or if there are technical issues outside of their control.

Does CoachRun have a discount for children or infants?

No, CoachRun requires that all passengers (including children and infants) purchase a ticket for travel. You can book all of your CoachRun tickets, even for little ones, on https://www.wanderu.com/.

Can minors travel alone on CoachRun?

For minors (under 18 years old) traveling alone, the parents must write a notarized authorization for the minor to travel without an adult.

After Booking Your Ticket

I didn't receive my confirmation email or ticket from CoachRun!

Please contact CoachRun at 617-681-0820 or [email protected] to request your tickets to be resent.

Do I need to print my CoachRun ticket?

CoachRun does not require a printed ticket to board the bus. An E-Ticket is sent to you by email that you can load on most electronic devices. You will want to have your ticket ready to be displayed as you board for the agent to scan. 

How early should I arrive at the station?

We recommend arriving at least 20-30 minutes before the departure time to prepare for the boarding process. If you are unfamiliar with the departure station, it's always good to leave extra time to find your way around!

Do I need an ID to board my bus?

Yes, CoachRun requires you to present an ID to an agent to board the bus. Make sure you have identification issued by a government agency that meets the carrier’s requirements. Alternative IDs, like a college ID, won’t work.

Cancelling or Changing Your CoachRun Reservation

Can I make changes to my ticket?

You may change your ticket by registering or logging into your CoachRun account directly on their website: http://www.coachrun.com/app/user-register.htm

  • The account made must be with the same email address used to purchase the ticket. 

  • Once registered (or logged in), go to 'My Account'

  • Access 'My Bookings'

  • Select 'Reschedule' on the booking you wish to make changes

Tickets can only be rescheduled 4 hours or more before departure. All tickets are non-exchangeable within 4 hours of departure and after the bus has departed.

If you want to change your tickets within 2 hours of the initial purchase, there is no fee for rescheduling. After the 2 hour grace period, there is a $1 fee per ticket for the first online reschedule, $2 for the second, and $3 for the third.

The fee for rescheduling made through CoachRun's customer service agent at +1 (617) 681-0820 starts at $5 per ticket.

Can I cancel my ticket and get a refund?
Unfortunately, all CoachRun tickets are nonrefundable.

On Your Day of Travel

Where is the bus?
CoachRun offers an online tracker to see when your bus will arrive! You can also contact CoachRun Customer Service to inquire at 617-681-0820.

I missed my bus! What do I do?
Catching the next trip out or requesting a refund for the unused ticket would be completely up to CoachRun, since reservations and transactions are done directly with the carrier.
Usually, no refunds or credits will be given in instances where passengers miss the bus, but you can always contact CoachRun to inquire at at 617-681-0820 or [email protected].
