Know Before You Go

How much luggage can I bring on my Rider Express trip?

One (1) carry-on baggage and two (2) luggage free of charge per passenger. Third additional luggage will be $30, fourth luggage will be an extra $40 charge.

Does Rider express have amenities on board?

Rider express does offer WiFi, power outlets, and bathrooms on board most of its trips. Please keep in mind that since these are complimentary it is within the carrier's rights to not offer them on specific routes or if there are technical issues outside of their control.

Does Rider Express have a discount for children or infants?

Children can travel free of charge under below conditions:

  • One free child under 2 years of age for one person/ticket.

  • Accompanied by an adult or a minor who is at least 16 years of age or older

  • Will not occupy a seat

* This ticket must be purchased directly with Rider Express.

* Children the ages of 2+ pay the same fare as adults.

Can minors travel alone on Rider Express?

Children the ages of 13 years old and up can travel on their own. Children less than 13 years old must be accompanied by someone at least 16 years old.

After Booking Your Ticket

I didn't receive my confirmation email or ticket from Rider Express!

Please contact Rider Express at 1-833-583-3636 or [email protected] to request your tickets be resent.

Do I need to print my Rider Express ticket?

Yes, Rider Express requires that all passengers have printed tickets to board the bus.

How early should I arrive at the station?

We recommend arriving at least 20-30 minutes before the departure time to prepare for the boarding process. If you are unfamiliar with the departure station, it's always good to leave extra time to find your way around!

Do I need an ID to board my bus?

Yes, Rider Express requires you to present an ID to an agent to be allowed to board the bus. Make sure you have identification issued by a government agency that meets the carrier’s requirements. Alternative IDs, such as a college ID, won’t work.

Cancelling or Changing Your Rider Express Reservation

Can I make changes to my ticket?

You are able to change the time and date of your ticket reaching out the carrier at 1-833-583-3636. There will be service charge of 30$ for tickets which total above 70$ or 20$ for tickets which total less than 70$.

Can I cancel my ticket and get a refund?

Rider Express tickets are not refundable or transferable.

Cancellation and refund requests shall be received 24 hours before the travel date and only 50% of the ticket value is refundable. Please read the carrier’s policy from below link:

Where is the bus?


Schedules are all monitored and tracked by the carrier you are scheduled to travel with. It would be best if you contacted the carrier directly for more information at 1-833-583-3636.

I missed my bus! What do I do?


Catching the next trip out or requesting a refund for the unused ticket would be completely up to Rider Express, since reservations and transactions are done directly with the carrier.


Usually, no refunds or credits will be given in instances where passengers miss the bus, but you can always contact Rider Express to inquire at at 1-833-583-3636 or [email protected].
