Travel insurance is an optional coverage plan offered to our customers via Allianz. This insurance does not mean that your ticket is refundable, only that you and your trip are covered by the plan in case of emergencies (with some additional benefits).
Allianz only provides insurance coverage to card holders residing (or using a card issued) in the United States and a limited number of other countries. Some of the countries included in this restricted list include Canada and Puerto Rico.
Unfortunately travel insurance policies that fail to process will not show up on the purchase confirmation screen on our website, we are working on updating this for everyone's convenience.
If you wanted to purchase an insurance policy and never received it (either having been charged for it or not), please reach out to us and we can look into this for you and make sure that your refund is processed (in the case of a cancelled policy) or that you were not charged.
