What is Wanderu on ChatGPT?
Wanderu is available as an app inside ChatGPT. When you ask ChatGPT about bus or train travel in the United States, it can search Wanderu's network of carriers to find trips, prices, and schedules for you.
How to use it
Just ask ChatGPT about bus or train travel naturally. For example:
"Find me a bus from Boston to New York tomorrow"
"What's the cheapest train from NYC to DC on Friday?"
"Amtrak options from Chicago to Milwaukee this weekend"
"2 tickets from Philadelphia to Pittsburgh on March 20th"
ChatGPT will search Wanderu and show you a card with trip options including prices, departure times, travel duration, and carrier information.
What carriers are available?
Wanderu searches across major US bus and train carriers including Greyhound, FlixBus, Megabus, Amtrak, Peter Pan, Vonlane, RedCoach, and many more.
Where does Wanderu cover?
Wanderu covers intercity bus and train routes across the United States. Some cross-border routes to Canada and Mexico may also be available depending on carrier coverage.
Wanderu does not currently search for flights. If you're looking for air travel, ChatGPT can help you with other tools.
How do I book?
When you see trip results, tap "Buy on Wanderu" to complete your purchase on wanderu.com. The ChatGPT app shows you options — booking happens on Wanderu's website where you can securely complete payment.
