ChatGPT isn't showing the Wanderu app

Troubleshooting when Wanderu doesn't appear or activate in ChatGPT. Covers enabling the app, starting fresh, and plan requirements.

Make sure the app is enabled

  1. In ChatGPT, go to Settings

  2. Look for Connected Apps or Plugins

  3. Find Wanderu and make sure it's enabled

If you don't see Wanderu listed, search for it in the app directory and add it.

Start a new conversation

If you've just enabled Wanderu, start a fresh conversation. Apps enabled mid-conversation may not activate until the next one.

Ask specifically

If ChatGPT isn't using Wanderu automatically, try being explicit:

  • "Use Wanderu to find buses from Boston to New York"

  • "Search Wanderu for trains from NYC to DC tomorrow"

Check your ChatGPT plan

Connected apps may require a ChatGPT Plus or Teams subscription. Check that your account supports third-party apps.

Still not working?

Try removing and re-adding the Wanderu app in your ChatGPT settings. If the issue persists, contact us at help.wanderu.com.
