How to cancel or change Deutsche Bahn ticket

You can exchange or cancel your flexible fare ticket online by going HERE and entering your reservation number and the passenger's last name.

Charges/fees:

  • Before the 1st day of validity for outbound journeys: Free exchange or cancellation

  • On and after the first day of validity: Exchange or cancellation of flexible fare tickets for long-distance travel (ICE, IC/EC, IC Bus): EUR 19 fee. Exchange or cancellation of flexible fare tickets for local transport (DB Regio, transport associations, NE/SEE): EUR 17.50 fee

A long-distance fee is charged for journeys that combine long-distance and local transport on one ticket (single or round trip). This fee comes to EUR 19, and it is incurred for connections that use at least one long-distance train.
