Each passenger is permitted to board the vehicle with 1 carry-on item that may be stowed in the overhead compartment or under your seat. Passengers are also allowed one suitcase under the bus with a maximum weight of 50 pounds.

You may bring a bicycle wrapped in a box, canvas, or other protective casing. See the Trailways luggage policy for more details.

Does Adirondack Trailways have amenities on board?

Trailways does offer WiFi, power outlets, and bathrooms on board most of its trips. Please keep in mind that since these are complimentary it is within the carrier's rights to not offer them on specific routes or if there are technical issues outside of their control.

Does Adirondack Trailways have a discount for children or infants?

One infant under age 2 can sit on the lap of a fare-paying adult, with no ticket required. Trailways offers a 25% discount for children ages 2 to 15 when accompanied by an adult. Child tickets must be purchased on https://trailways.com/.

After Booking Your Ticket

I didn't receive my confirmation email or ticket from Adirondack Trailways!

Remember to check your email inbox/promotions and spam folder for an email from Trailways with your ticket. If you need your ticket/QR code to be resent, you may retrieve your ticket/QR code on https://trailways.com/ by selecting "Find Boarding Pass" (located next to the "Search" button).

If you are unable to retrieve your ticket please email us at [email protected] and we can help you with the instructions to retrieve it.

Do I need to print my Adirondack Trailways ticket?

Adirondack Trailways offers two ticket types. If your ticket contains a "Barcode", you are required to print your ticket for boarding. If your ticket contains a "QR Code" you may present this ticket on your mobile device or print it for boarding.

How early should I arrive at the station?

We recommend arriving at least 20-30 minutes before the departure time to prepare for the boarding process. If you are unfamiliar with the departure station, it's always good to leave extra time to find your way around!

Do I need an ID to board my bus?

No, currently Adirondack Trailways does not require an ID to board the bus. Of course, it is always a good idea to carry a government-issued ID whenever you hit the road.
