Know Before You Go

How much luggage can I bring on my RedCoach trip?

You may carry up to 2 pieces of checked baggage and one free personal backpack. Carry-on baggage must be small enough to fit under the seat or in the overhead compartment. Please see the RedCoach luggage policy for more details.

Does RedCoach have amenities on board?

RedCoach does offer WiFi, power outlets, and bathrooms on board most of its trips. Please keep in mind that since these are complimentary it is within the carrier's rights to not offer them on specific routes or if there are technical issues outside of their control.

Does Rider Express have a discount for children or infants?

Children between the ages of 3 and 12 years old traveling with an adult receive a 15% discount at the time of ticket purchase. Select Child 3-12 as a passenger to automatically apply the discount. Children under 3 years of age travel for free on an adult's lap.

Tickets must be purchased directly with the carrier to received the discount.

Can minors travel alone on RedCoach?

Children under 16 years old cannot travel alone; they must ride with an adult at all times.

After Booking Your Ticket

I didn't receive my confirmation email or ticket from RedCoach!

Please contact Red Coach at 1-877-733-0724 or [email protected] to request your tickets to be resent.

Do I need to print my RedCoach ticket?

RedCoach does not require a printed ticket to board the bus. Instead, an eTicket is sent to you by email when you make your reservation. You can use your smartphone to show this eTicket to the ticketing agent as you board.

How early should I arrive at the station?

We recommend arriving at least 20-30 minutes before the departure time to prepare for the boarding process. If you are unfamiliar with the departure station, it's always good to leave extra time to find your way around!

Do I need an ID to board my bus?

Yes, RedCoach requires you to present an ID to an agent to be allowed to board the bus. Make sure you have identification issued by a government agency that meets the carrier’s requirements. Alternative IDs, such as a college ID, won’t work.

Cancelling or Changing Your RedCoach Reservation

Can I make changes to my ticket?

RedCoach tickets are refundable up to 2 hours before the scheduled departure time. A service fee up to 50% of the ticket price may apply. You can easily cancel your RedCoach bus tickets online using RedCoach’s Online Refunds tool.

Please keep in mind that RedCoach tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable within 2 hours of the bus’ departure.

You can reschedule your RedCoach reservation by calling RedCoach at 1 (877) 733-0724 up to 2 hours before the scheduled departure time. A service fee may be applied, depending on your ticket’s fare type.

Can I cancel my ticket and get a refund?

Some RedCoach tickets are refundable, depending on the class of tickets and their restrictions that you purchased. Cancellations for a refund must be made more than 24 hours before departure. A 50% service fee may apply to any refund issued by Red Coach.

On Your Day of Travel

A link will be sent via email 2 hours before departure time to track your bus in real time!

I missed my bus! What do I do?

Catching the next trip out or requesting a refund for the unused ticket would be completely up to RedCoach, since reservations and transactions are done directly with the carrier.

Usually, no refunds or credits will be given in instances where passengers miss the bus, but you can always contact RedCoach to inquire at 1-833-583-3636 or [email protected].
