Wanderu now offers the opportunity to book a rental car, along with bus and train tickets, directly on wanderu.com.
To reserve your rental car, you can follow these steps:
Step 1: Begin your search
- Open https://cars.wanderu.com/ on your desktop or mobile browser
- Enter your rental location (and drop off location, if you will return the car to a different location), and pick up and drop off dates and times
- Click the Search button
The site will then populate all available options for your trip. You can sort and/or filter your results to your preference, by using the filters on the left side of the screen, or the sort-by tabs on the top of the screen.
Step 2: Select your car and review your choice
Once you have selected your preferred car, you will be directed to a new page with additional details about the car, supplier location, and rental requirements. Please review this page closely.
On this page, you can also choose to add damage waivers, or other extras such as additional drivers, child seats, and so on.
After reviewing your selection, click "Go To Book" on the bottom of the page.
Step 3: Complete your booking
The next two pages will ask for driver and payment information.
Both pages will provide you with a summary of your selection. Make sure that your rental pick-up and drop-off dates, times, and locations are correct.
- On the Driver page, enter the information for the driver, and the email address you would like your confirmation sent to
- After checking the Driver page, select "Book Now" to proceed to Payment
- On the Payment page, enter your credit card information, double checking all entries for accuracy
- Select "Book Now" to complete your reservation and payment
When you have successfully booked your rental car, you will receive a confirmation email from the supplier directly to your email inbox/promotions (or spam). Follow the instructions in your confirmation email about checking in to pick up your rental car on the day of your reservation.
